Szymon is a Chartered Professional Structural Engineer holding two Masters and a PhD degree with over 10 years experience gained working on projects based in Australia, New Zealand, Poland, Belgium, Italy, Sweden and Netherlands.

He is passionate about structural optimization and seismic design. He finds satisfaction in deciphering behaviours of different structural systems by building nonlinear analytical models which simulate not only a superstructure response but reflect soil-structure interaction as well.

During his career he has researched and implemented many different optimization algorithms and calculation approaches about which he has written 15 articles published in scientific and engineering journals.

He always puts huge emphasis on finding optimal solutions which build robustness and resilience into a structure without additional costs. He is an extremely client focus person and always delivers projects above their expectations in a timely manner meeting all project constraints and budget.
